    The real problem with large quantities of pickle salts is that if you use them up too slowly and they are not well enough protected againt moisture, you will be the proud owner of an unmanageable boulder.

    Well, the pieces in this pickle *have* turned pink... But since they're copper, that's less of an issue.
    The containers the chemicals are in are a decent seal, but over time it'll still absorb enough moisture for it to be a problem.
