I love foldforming too. Very satisfying when you prize open the form to see what you've got.
The most ambitious thing I made was this fold formed cuff.Click image for larger version.

Lovely work! Especially if this is your first attempt. The more you practice, the better you'll get at it and the angles and form will start to look more and more wonderful. You should try and get the planes at different angles so that you can catch more light and the feather will really shimmer when someone wears it! I think you've done a great job here and definitely agree that the shining is top notch too!

    Hi Julie,
I have only just seen your post asking about my lesson - Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend the class as I had a migraine that day (foldforming not really do able with a migraine). Since then life has rather got in the way of having a go, and Ive had a little bad luck with getting a bout of labrynthitis and what I think is probably a bit of RSA with a wrist problem. On the bright side I still have fold forming to look forward to having a go at. Hope you're enjoying your foldforming activities.
    Happy hammering!
    Sue.

Cracking bit of work there Beadjoux. Hadn't really been aware of foldforming until my eye lighted on this. Think I'll be, quite literally, having a bash at it at some stage now though.
