    Default 2nd piece with rivets

Hi, thought I would share my 2nd piece with rivets, another pendant but this time 1.2mm silver tube instead of the gold wire I used on the hare. Still need lots practice, but I think in future I'll try bigger as this was way to fiddley for me.

Fiddly is what jewellers do Joella. They are a good size without dominating the design. Dennis.

Thank you Carole, I'm getting there, but more practice still needed ofcourse. Dennis, can't argue with fiddly being what jewellers do - maybe I'll manage it better once I've got some magnification and lots more practice, I'm glad you don't think they dominate the design, I didn't want them to - but wasn't capable of going any smaller.

    Hi Joella!
Are the petals silver? I like the contrast in texture, also I really like your bail!

Thank you Sammyjean, I just made loops out of round wire, shaped and soldered together to make the bail, yes the petals are silver, just textured with one of those hammers with a flattened end and 'emeried' with 0000 wire wool. I love the items you posted on your onwards and upwards post they're really good. I particularly love the reticulated moon and the little ring with a round cab, but theyre all lovely.
