    Default New website

Well, at long last I can reveal my new site. It's still in the process of having products added and that has turned out to be a very steep learning curve. It's so much better than my old one. Hope you like it. www.caroleallenjewellery.co.uk

Looks beautiful to me - and very professional. I've had websites in the past for various ventures, but I fail when it comes to keeping them properly maintained and up to date, so nowadays, recognising my limitations, I stick to marketing through other sites such as Etsy, eBay, Folksy, etc... but if you're up to the task I'm sure it's much better to have your own personal site. Good job!

It's beautiful now Carole and the new photography makes the pieces look very desirable. A hundred miles from that grim catalogue look that was in fashion once. Dennis.

I think you've done a stunning job of it. It's an example to us all.

One very small point: on your home page at the start of the second paragraph it says:

"Most of the jewellery is handmade from silver with touches of gold, semi precious stones and anodised aluminium."

Even though you have already said in the first paragraph that "each piece...is handcrafted", this second paragraph led me to think for a moment that perhaps not all your jewelry was handmade after all. Since the topic of this sentence is really the materials your jewelry is made out of, not whether it is handmade, it might be better just to say "Most of the jewellery is made from silver with touches of gold, semi precious stones and anodised aluminium".

Thanks very much for your kind comments.

I take your point Mark. I think I was probably trying to score as many Google seo points as possible when I wrote that.

It's looking lovely Carole. What a meteoric rise from our first interaction on the other forum a few years ago now! Your hard work is definitely paying off
