    Default Course venue suggestions

If one wanted to organise a course in the UK run by a visiting tutor with the following requirements:

    Capacity up to 8 students
    Accurate temperature controlled kiln
    Good rolling mill
    Hydraulic press (ideally)
    Anvil
Basic silversmithing equipment (saws, forging hammers, torches, pendant motor etc.)

What venues would people suggest? West Dean seems an obvious one, so did BIAD but the latter apparently seem uninterested.

I know they have good kilns at West Dean but I've never seen a rolling mill and hydraulic press there. I may be wrong though.

I'm intrigued as to what you're up to though

    Thinking of teaching mokume?

I think South Hill Park in Bracknell might have all that apart from the press

There are both in the silversmithing workshop - the press is a Bonny Doon.

It won't be me teaching, I'm just trying to to scout a venue so I can attend

Sir John Cass in Whitechapel, London could be a candidate. They run short courses at holiday times and are close to a tube station.

No help on suggesting a venue, but in terms of BIAD, the conversation I hear about tools/equipment, etc, is that it tends to be 'well used'.
