    I saw someone on YouTube making that shape by hammering into a dished out shape on a tree trunk. It was amazing.
    I tend do make anticlastic ones - they are more comfortable to wear.

    Im surprised nobody sells a cuff shaped mandrel, think I will stick with the axe handle then lol

    Thanks James! that looks useful and a good price too
    I went and had a look at anticlastic ones but they wouldn't work for me as mine need to have a horsehair braid in.
