Default Theme Competition February 2015 - Love

    Hello Everyone,

Predictable as it may be, we thought that our February competition would need to be love themed!

With Valentines Day fast approaching, i'm sure you are all busy making for the ones you love or completing that commision the lovebirds have requested; so this month's themed competition is LOVE!

So think of the ones you love and submit your entries before the end of the month.

The winner will get a £100 Cooksongold shopping spree!

So get creating, making and entering!

    Good luck!

'you Complete me'. A companion set for a couple - I think that meets the loved theme

Yup, brazenly using the line from one of my favourite films.

the smaller pendant could even go on a key chain, I guess, or kept in a wallet

I have flush set a 2mm sapphire on the bigger piece. Both pieces connect to make the heart complete

This my entry. The little box opens. It's a bit soppy I'm afraid.

I dont know if it counts for the competition as I havent entered before, but I made a pendant for someone and her new boyfriend. I took a picture of it before it was completely polished and of course I havent got it now as the girl was moving away. It had a slider on the back so it could be locked together or split in two, so she could have one half and him the other.

    Lovely idea Wallace. Very pretty.
I like 'the perfect match' box too.

Isn't it meant to be soppy? I love the match idea and both Wallace's and Pat's sets of hearts are lovely too. I know what I'd like to make, but whether I get round to it in time is entirely another matter!

I think Carole has nailed it - very sweet! I'm going to make one specially I think - I'm not usually one for hearts, but I've got an idea for one I fancy trying!

Are her patterns used on sheet metal Theresa?
