Default Making a fold over snap clasp for a bracelet

Hello I've been asked to do a repair to a bracelet where the existing snap clasp has been lost. I've searched the internet (including Cooksons) for a silver, fold over, snap clasp of the sort that used to be found on lots of bracelets and watches, but can't find one anywhere in the UK! I guess this is because they often lost their staying power as a clasp... So, the only thing left is for me to make one. I've found some images and cut out the silver parts and the clasp looks fine, but I am wondering how to make it strong enough and a close enough fit so that the top part clips closely over the bottom part and stays put through lots of uses. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.

Do you have a picture of the box part of the clasp that (I presume) you have?? Or are you making the entire finding??
