    They look fab James.

I think I've worked it out now. I shall get the Bonny Doon gizmo which I shall use with strips cut to the correct width (by Cooksons) and then cut them down. I shall then bind them together over a former and solder them together.

My problem is that everything I make has to be also made by a team of people who are not master jewellers (neither am I!). They also have to be reasonably priced. I potentially will need to make hundreds of the damn things. One of my team does make very tiny silver boxes and box rings, so I may get him on the case. I wish I could pull out, but I'm committed now.

Just curious what you ended up using as your former Carole?

Well my Bonny soon thing came and it's fab but you have to be very accurate. I've now decided to get the pieces laser cut with the bending lines marked so that I can be more accurate. I can't actually make any up until I get the inner bits back from casting.
