    Question SIlver Hallmark question

My understanding is that any piece of silver that weighs more than 7.78 Grams has to be hallmarked. Well my question is, does this apply to a single cufflink, or to the combined weight of a pair of cufflinks ?

Many thanks Paul AKA Mr Beaujangles

It is the individual weight of each cufflink. Each cufflink is treated as an individual unit and will get a hallmark if it's over 7.78g. Always treat cufflinks and earrings as individual units and not as a pair.
