Does anyone know whether there is going to be a December competition?

Umm, blimey... Wasn't expecting that. Thank you so so much!

Thank you ALL for the well wishes too, I can't remember the last time I won anything. I'm sooo chuffed, especially considering the standard of the competition, you all put in some amazing pieces.

Right, better switch to kid in a sweetshop mode...

    Cheers

Thank you Carlton, I'm still trying to accept I won!

Barry, that's high praise indeed, I hope I can live up to it. Susieq, thank you, it seems you're not alone in your views as they've already been snaffled up. I think the phrase was 'so do I get to wear them now?'. I wouldn't mind but they didn't pay (only kidding).

I really don't want to sound like an Oscar winner, but I do wish I could thank you all individually for your kind words, they really do mean a lot. As to the prize, it means I can finally ditch the abysmal set of warped £4 maplins needle files I've been using and get some real ones. It was a hard choice as to what to get (kid in sweet shop) but I think my files are possibly my most used tools after my torch and saw. It will be a real treat to have a straight file!

    Love, hugs and manly handshakes...

    Vos

PS - I will be adding a bottle of Platinol as I'm desperate to experiment with patinisation
