Thats gorge! I bet the teacher was well made up with that! I love pieces that move.
Makes a change from the boring normal bottles of wine that they normally get anyway!

Lovely
wish I was your daughters teacher.
Did you flatten and drill the frame top/ bottom to pass the head pin through or create a wire loop?

Thanks all
Em, I just made a pair of jump rings, soldered them, then soldered the rest of the frame on. A bit of judicious cutting away of a charcoal block made the whole thing fairly easy to hold together when I ran out of hands!
Clever! So the frame is two bits of wire.
would like to be an Octopus sometimes when jewellery making

A third hand i could not do without and bits of charcoal for propping up bits.
Yes, saw this lovely thing on your Flickr MIZGeorge
What an innovative and fantastic design. I love it! Must admit I wondered how you created the holes in the frame for the headpin to go through but after reading a previous post reply, soldering a couple of jump rings onto the frame is just lateral thinking. It's easy when you know how!

That's a really beautiful piece of work.
