Thanks Carole and Elaine, I think she was quite pleased with it. It all got a bit embarrassing because she didn't believe that I'd made it :/ As I said though, its not really the kind of thing I would probably choose to do, but I was told "birds" and had to use materials that I had to hand!
As for the other entries... ummm, "amazing" springs to mind! I'd like to win the lottery just so that I could have Hans's completely gorgeous ring!! The colours are so vibrant and beautiful and the detail is incredible! Also loving Sandra's jaguar - I spent some time traveling in Mexico when I was younger and I love all things Aztec/Mayan/tribal - the combo of textures and metals is really lovely.
This months competition has really brought out some amazing work & unexpected designs!
Love Lydia's spider, my OH has arachnophobia but I love them.
Lucy, your bird is adorable.
Sandra, your jaguar is a lesson in mixed metals, brilliant work.
Hans, I'm speechless.
Great pieces, I am struggling with motivation as my work area is such a mess...

Jewelry for today's world,
Whereby, style following the pattern of traditional world !
I was worried I would miss this months as have been in horsepital (very bad joke I know) but I saw this theme a while ago and was very excited to see all the entries and wanted to put a piece in. Might not be as technically amazing as some pieces which are incredible, (all are stunning, I love the work on here and getting to see the different styles and work people produce) but is special to me as is my own Doberman, Ciara.
This piece is fitting for her and she is a little bit of a jig saw with so many aspects of her personality, so is 'Jigsaw Dobe' she has her head on my lap watching the screen as I type right now She is a beautiful girl.
very clever animal nutty.
Jasdir, theme is animals… maybe you posted the wrong pic?
