    Yes, I know the answer to that one. If you open a baby bangle fully its not round, its more of a "B" shape, but not joined in the middle. Doing a PIC for Theresa in a tic.

    When the bangle is open, its oval, not round.

    Thank you Pat, I'll try reshaping mine.

    Carole, there's a small pin through one end of the hinged bit which clicks into a sloping slot. There's a slight tension in the bangle when closed which also helps to prevent it coming open. This shows it a bit better:
