    Default There Be Dragons!! - Aluminium Bracelet

    Latest bit of jewellery work to find its way out from amongst the race car and motorcycle bits! Bracelet made of 2mm 1050 grade aluminium and engraved with Viking-inspired dragon design.

    Thanks for all the compliments. In answer to Tabby66's comment, can't claim too much credit for the graduated shading effect. It pretty much does itself when the paint gets wiped off.

    Super work! Can I enquire what paint you use? I've been using some printmaking ink, simply because I already have it, but it's quite sticky in the rubbing off phase, wondering if there may be a better alternative

    I use some stuff called "Granville Cylinder Black - High Temperature Paint for Exhaust Systems, Engine Cases, Barrels Etc". It does wipe off quite nicely and gives you enough time to work on a reasonable area before it dries too much. Main advantage, however, is that it requires no primer.
