Default My beautifull shed oh sorry I mean workshop

My OH bless him is busy converting the former toy shed (the grandchildrens toys have been removed to smaller shed and now this one is mine) for me to use as a workshop. He is fed up of my beads and findings all over the house. But then we all know how things multiply when your not looking. I got fed up of having to climb over the chassis of a 1935 Austin, in his workshop so now I can have my own bolt hole. Tomorrow the workbenchs go in. So I cant wait now. So tomorrow if the weather behaves I can just remind him that he will soon be able to have all his workshop to himself when he moves my 2 kilns out. Big smile on my face is getting bigger.

Oh Edith - that is brilliant!! I'm sure you will love it! ...make sure you get some good heating sorted for the winter though - sheds can get really cold! I insulated mine this spring with some sheep's wool insulation (very environmentally friendly!) so I am hoping to reap the benefits this winter...perhaps you could suggest this to your OH before he starts fixtures and fittings?
Have you taken a look at the thread we did about all of our workshops last month? Some you will love...many you will envy...and others will make you glad you have your own little 'studio'!...but you can also get a lot of inspiration!! Here is the link... http://www.cooksongold.com/forum/showthread.php?t=102
Hope you really enjoy your 'new home'!!

    How fantastic!
My DH keeps threatening to glaze in our side return to make a single workspace for me (rather than half the utility room and half the dining room plus one of the spare bedrooms), but I suspect I may be waiting some time.....

    Enjoy your new space

Fabulous having your own space. Do we get photographs when it is finished. Enjoy.

I have finished my shed now its now called my Bolt Hole. I moved in this afternoon and I have been making beads in there this evening. I feel like a spoited brat. OH says I am. I will post some pics as soon as son shows me how to do it.
    Happy days

Great stuff - how exciting to have your own bolt hole and some space - my eyes are turning a delicate shade of green as I look at my "workshop", which is our tiny boxroom where I'm tripping over all sorts of boxes filled with my goodies

I'm hoping for world peace but I'd also like something shiny as well...
