Summer Fair Stock

Hi,

I have an outdoor summer fair next week with roughly 1500 people attending which are mainly families.

How much stock do you think I should make/take with me?

I'm not the best person to ask, since I've realised that I take literally hundreds of pieces to each show, having just bagged everything up. I'd say it depends on your price points really.

Whenever I've researched shows, I've seen anything from £8-10,000 upwards worth of stock, but like Carole says, it depends on your price points and what sort of jewellery you make. Good luck with it.

Have you a link to your site if you have one? I take about 50 pieces to a show which I expect about 1,000 to turn up. Not that I sell anywhere near that!

This coming Monday, I will participate at the zilverdag in Schoonhoven, we always have between 20,000 - 25,000 visitors to this very small town when jewellery makers take over! I take every item of unsold jewellery with me, there is always the chance that someone will like it.
