that is a lovely little seahorse and sea theme Sandra.

Here is my part of the natural world - not seen, but felt. The Wind represented by a mini windmill. It does actually spin too - I can't get the link to work to show it

size wise - it is roughly 55mm long from bail to sail tip. Sail to sail diameter is about 34mm

the tube setting creates a rivet and holds a 3mm facet amethyst

    Hiya,

I love the little sea horse, so pretty and the wind mill is just adorable and actually brought back visual mental memories, I used to love those. Both pieces are really beautiful, as are the earrings, I'm a sucker for anything textured and leafy.

So I hope this is OK to add - it's my first time to enter the competition and also the first time I have ever shown my work to other jewellers in any real capacity, so am really nervous, but thought this piece fits the brief.

This long slim leaf is set with a stone that holds the fur and hair of 7 animals, including cats, dogs and a horse, it is mixed with little pieces of 9ct gold and tiny turquoise chips.

Loving this month's entries - all so different!

I've had an idea for every month so far, but only got to the sketching stage of each before I ran out of time.

    Maybe next month...

Early days and a really fab mix of lovely things already .

I think I have managed to upload a brief video onto you tube now, if anyone wants to see my son pretending to imitate the wind..... It is only a little something, I had to edit out the giggling! I couldn't link it to FB when I originally posted, so hope this works. I couldn't edit this back in my original post, so I hope it is okay. Please mod if not.

That's so cute Wallace. I used to make them with aluminium but they weren't as nice as yours.

thanks Carole, although I make a few of these, they are normally really small and from thinner sheet. This is my first biggie and polishing it was a nightmare. It is so shiny though, so I am very pleased. thanks again
