for cheap jobber drills check out Silverline,; http://www.silverlinetools.com/products/d86/s721
http://www.toolstation.com/ and Amazon sell them and I see Silverline have a stockist called Jim's in Camborne, Carole; (Toolstation charge £1.08 for a pack of 10 x 1mm. drills but they charge postage, or they have a branch in Truro)
Like Liz I buy cheapo drills by the pack.

Oh, good old Jims. I'll check them out. Why did I never think of buying cheap drill bits?
