    Default Channel rings

Managed to snap this pic today..without any fancy light equipment whatsoever & a compact camera.
Just some unpolished rings for the trade & big enough for you to nitpick the details
    0.02ct (1.7mm) diamonds.

What happens next, Chris? You did a good job with the photography, BTW. Dennis.

Looks good Chris. North-facing window for the light?

Can't tell if you've aligned the tables or not there... Do you undercut one side and slide the stones in, or make sure the channel is the same width as the stones and move metal over? I've not tried the former so far.

No idea about the light direction but sunny it was
Unfortunately these don't pay enough to worry about lining up facets..save that for the better stuff.

Not very exciting to do but quick.
I cut a thread both sides & with the channel "almost" the same width..I find they slide & "click" into place quite securely with just abit of pushing down to do before buffing & trim the inside edge with a polished flat.

the stones are too small. Otherwise I don't know what other faults I'm looking for.
