    Default Water of Ayr source?

Since my usual supplier of Water of Ayr (AKA Tam O'Shanter hone) stone has dried up, I'm now starting to look a wee bit depleted in that area. Does anyone know of a stockist? I've a few bits of slate I've been testing instead, but haven't managed to find any recently that are quite as soft.

Failing that, any members in Ayrshire want to snaffle a rock for me?

Cheers George - I'd need to cut that one down, it's practically a bench stone!

Thanks Nic - I shall pick through.

I could be back to asking for assistance from Ayrshire - although I've just remembered an old friend of mine lives not that many miles away... Hmm

Can you point me to it in their catalogue? Not finding it with searches (and just put an order in to them as well!!!). TIA!

That was the first place I thought of Peter, but they're not showing as available (I ordered yesterday too!)

    You could give them a call - 020 8778 7061, or 020 7242 3711 for the Hatton Garden showroom.
