    Default Alcantara Mops

Hi. Quick question to anyone using alcantara mops and Menzerna polish.

Is there any need to start with the Menzerna 456G Pre-polish Compound for rough castings? Or would a whizz with a bristle brush do the same job?

For the different compounds (Pre polish; P164; P175 & M5) which mops, hard or soft would you use to give the best results?

    Thank you x

After using rough and fine roll sanders, I just go straight for the finishing Menzerna on the Alcantara Lucie. I do press quite hard but it comes up a treat. Saves so much time and effort.

Thanks Carole I thought I'd have to buy all 3 compounds and a whole load of new mops!

Is that using the "soft" alcantara mop you finish with? Suttons now seem to be sellling hard & soft versions. I'm assuming the soft one is their version of the WDR mop and the hard ones are like the B mops.
