They look like they should be a prop in a film like Pan's Labyrinth. Would love to get my mitts on one - I've had a soft spot for decorative tins and metal boxes since I was little (bit weird I know)and would keep all my "treasures" in them.

Alas these are out of my price range

I googled and one went on ebay for about 90 quid. Which I thought was kind of sad given the amount of work involved.

Blimey I'll have to keep an eye on ebay then - I've seen them on gallery websites for about £400!

I think his style has changed a bit over the years. They used to be all fishes and shellfish. I love his work too.
