Oh such lovely entries already! What are the little birds made of if I may ask? Hopefully I'll be posting soon with an entry, as usual while working on mine today I had to learn a couple new lessons the hard way...

    Default Spring Garden Pendant

Here is my entry for Spring, just in from the workshop! I am rubbish at photographing jewellery but here goes. It's difficult to tell on the pictures but the bail has a little leaf on the bottom. It is made of silver with copper butterflies and a little faceted jewel in a bezel on top. I learned a valuable new lesson while making this - never assume when soldering the bail that it won't heat up the entire piece in the process! I was almost finished and had to redo many things after that

Very pretty Sandra - are all the silver pieces soldered on as well or was the base piece etched?

Not an entry as I won recently but I couldn't resist showing something for Spring. I haven't been on here much recently as we are still recovering from the floods, we had 6 inches of flood water in most of our downstairs rooms.
    Good luck to all entries.

I feel sorry for everyone who was flooded, not much you can do until the water has subsided. Fortunately, the recent dry spell will help a lot.
We escaped but lots of houses in the village had springs coming up through their floors and they are still pumping.
I love your piece, such beautiful craftsmanship. Do you have any pieces from when you first started out? I would love to see them.

    All the best
    Theresa
