    Default Reflections silver

Probably a daft question, but if I'm using Reflections Silver wire can I use the same solder that I'd use on Sterling Silver?

I know the Reflections stuff is a different alloy so was worried that regular solder may leave a dull mark, or am I talking utter tosh?

    Cheers,

    Nick

    Hi Nick
I've only used Reflections wire, but didn't notice anything different when soldering it.

You can't really help but use the same solder Nick, but it will teach you to make neat joins and not melt any stray solder on the surface. Of course your sins will only catch up with you when the solder begins to tarnish. Dennis.

That makes sense then, thanks. I'm pretty precise with my soldering these days but will be even more so if I start using the reflections variety.

    Thanks,

    Nick
