Cooksongold are selling the Nimbus Cloud Jewellery Photography Dome + accessories.

I have watched the video, has anyone used this equipment is it worth buying?

Unfortunately I can't comment on whether this is worth the money as I looked into getting this a few months ago and went for this in the end http://www.modahaus.com/. as is was cheaper. Quite happy with it but obviously can't say whether its better. You do get different colour backgrounds with the modahaus though and can do infinity curve if you like that effect

I've seen one, and thought it was OK - but limited to smartphone use, which didn't appeal to me at all.

I think http://www.modahaus.com/ remains my favourite table top studio product at a sensible price.

Will look into the modahaus system instead, I have a Sony 8 mpix camera with a macro setting and limited manual settings, my phone is an xperia mini pro the camera (has a macro too) is ok, but not as advanced as an I phone.

I made light box but the pictures I have taken using this and my camera on a tripod are pretty rubbish.
