    Default Converting gauge to mm

Does anyone have a decent conversion chart for converting gauge to mm and vice versa? Many of my books and links are in USA measurements. When I google the info I seem to come up with charts that contain so much I info I can't make sense of them.

Right now trying to figure out 24 gauge sheet metal to mm!

USA sheet metal size G24 is approx 0.6mm. thick. Remember that wire gauge sizes are sometimes different to sheet gauge sizes.

Slightly more complicated chart but it also gives the inch measurements as fractions

we used to have a sticky with these, but it seemed to disappear in the big forum tidyup a while ago.

In functional terms, this works though:
