Default Difficulty with findings for earring design

I've been asked to make someone a pair of earrings that will cover a slight rip in her ear. I'm looking for a gold coloured stud that I can hang a loop from. I've just recently discovered quick links but need a larger stud to hang them from. I'm looking for a stud with a bit of bling in it or a 'cup' type stud that I can attach a bit of bling to. I need to be able to get all the findings at the same place so the gold colour will match. I've looked through all the usual bead suppliers that I go to but can't find what I'm looking for.

I'd really appreciate some help as I've been looking for a while now. Thanks!

Most of the people on here use semi-precious metals I think, i.e silver, gold etc. You could try Cookson Gold but not sure if they sell plated stuff, but its worth a try.
