    Default IJL validation

Has anyone else received an email requiring them to prove they're involved in the jewellery trade?
I'm a wee bit surprised to see it given I've been before.

I get lots of emails from them, a little bit annoying to be honest, but none asking for proof ?

Actually, I wonder if it might be down to my adding someone new onto my registration? As I'm setting diamonds for them, there's a fair chance they're moderately involved in the industry too...

In the past the regulations asked for an invoice from a trade supplier, so I've always taken a Cookson invoice with me , but have never needed to show it.

That's one of the solutions offered, but it's a bit of a pain to scan & submit it so I've offered up my ACJ membership number for now. I'll see if that appeases.
