Anyone got some spare black tourmaline?

Really Caroleallen? it says you're astonished.

Not sure what I just read actually, though it has Life Re-Newing Molecules, and the tip will glide over my eye area. Great.

Actually someone at Estee Lauder is being rather sexist. A black mark to them, tourmaline or not. Women aught to be annoyed that anyone thinks them foolish enough to part with ninety quid for this sort of thing.

Sadly it must work or they wouldn't do it. Though I don't personally know anyone who would be taken in by all that froth. Money. Sense. In that order.

If you have hair of a certain length, a ponytail can do the same thing.

As a secret beauty product junkie, I know cr@p like this is all too common in skincare products. Creams containing precious metals* and diamonds are pretty commonplace in high end products just to justify the extortionate price tags. since none of this stuff can actually penetrate the skin, it's just hype and the best hope is a cosmetic difference.

*an exception is the inclusion of colloidal silver, which has some scientific research to support its use in skincare

I thought crushed black tourmaline was called 'gravel' ... it's a great exfoliator - that much is true
