    Default Recovering Silver From Scrap.

I hear from a reliable source that the recovery of silver from scrap is soon to be revolutionised by using the humble onion. This will greatly reduce costs and the savings will be passed on to our customers, he continued.

Asked to say more about the process, he replied: we always add the onions to the molten metal, not the metal to onions. Then he warned; do not attempt to do this at home. It can be extremely dangerous without our special equipment.

Interesting. I would have assumed the sulphydryls in the onions would link with the silver causing the resulting recovered silver to be quite blackened. Does the process involve any layering in the resulting cast?

Perhaps I shall do some research into this after noon.

Very interesting, what's the date today again? I prefer my onions fried and with a steak.

    Dennis,
I also heard that if you add garlic, silver alloy will be very effective to kill vampires.
    (everybody checked the calendar? )
