That's really charming! I like it. Having the chain made of hammered links that match the flowers provides a nice cohesion.
I think it looks really lovely.
I'd also be very keen to see the detail of the links.
It's a lovely arty photo, but I'm still at that beginner stage where I'm interested in sucking up the detail of the technique.
Thank you for all the lovely comments. I took the pic but didn't think too much about it. The links have 2 tiny 2mm jump rings on the back, then are joined by a 3mm jump ring in-between. I'll try to post a better picture of the links. I'm not sure it's any particular technique!, although the links are slightly curved. x
Ah - I see - thanks, that was exactly what I was wondering about.
Yes and it looks as if the 'pendant' is attached by posts and scrolls? If so, a novel idea provided the scrolls remain secure. Dennis.
Hi Dennis what are posts and scrolls? I'm not sure if i've got them or not? x
Well, if I screw up my eyes it looks as if the front bit is attached with earring wires and butterflies. Trouble is if I stare much longer my eyes might drop out like they say about guinea pigs.
I see what you mean now. The front is attached with soldered jump rings to the chain part, but it is hard to see. :-) x
