Default Cutting big turquoise beads into cabs?

I have big turquoise beads, and thinking they could make very good oval cabs if cut across. I have inexpensive wet saw for mosaic projects, but the diamond blade is kind of thick, so the big amount of bead will be cut off.
Is it any other way I can do it, or how to find someone who may do it? I mean who will do that custom work: lapidary artist? How to find that person?

Turquoise is not that hard, so you should be able to do it with a thin diamond coated disk or a carborundum cut off disk and plenty of water. The main problem will be how to hold the beads safely, say with a small hand vice.

Gem dealers will also have a facility for doing this at a price. Dennis.
