Default Health and safety - melting silver

hello, Ive started to re use my scrap pieces by melting them into nice organic shapes. Im doing this at home in the spare room i don't wear a mask or anything. I was simply wondering whether the fumes that are given off are hazardous?

    Thanks

All heat treatments with a gas flamed torch will give off some hazardous gasses, a mask is pretty useless though. A good air vent near your heating or forge area is what is needed or do your metal melting outside if possible.
