Still think I prefer the result from Helicon though; the definition in the amber is one of the areas that shows the difference.

I would definitely agree about the detail in the amber showing up better with Helicon.

I've never used focus stacking, so this thread has been very interesting. One day I'll have time to try it out!

Dusting this off... I'm afraid I'm going to have to suggest that people do NOT buy Helicon Focus. There's absolutley nothing wrong with the software - but the payment processor (SWREG) apparently believes that it is acceptable to harvest email addresses from customers and spam them. Telling them repeatedly to stop has no effect either.

Doesn't help me, but other people can avoid the irritation!
