OK, I've just spent waaaay too long on regretsy (I'm on a work avoidance day) and it makes me sad that there are so many sellers on there who are clearly just re-sellers of junk
I stopped banging my head on the desk long enough to post "I really should know better than follow links when people say how bad things on it are" - one day I'll learn - just visited regretsy!

And good luck with the exhibition Peter - whereabouts is it?
Argh... Missed that while mucking with multi-quote, sorry!
It's at the Sir Harold Hiller Gardens, just outside Romsey. I'm hoping that for this one there will be clearer signage once you get in - the last one it wasn't entirely clear (there's also a garden centre and I'm told another restaurant there). We should have yellow signs up on the approaches again, with luck they should be present a decent radius from the venue too.
I booked a 4 day selling event as my 1st attempt at getting back into my jewellery career, completely mad but it seemed like a good idea at the time! I didn't sleep the night before, imagining every eventuality. Luckily there were no major howlers, a few ideas to improve on things and a profit at the end of it.
Only one smart alec who had to make sniffy comments loud enough to be heard but only the one, everybody else was very pleasant. I took some tools, drills, saw and blades and a start to finish series of a Celtic cross I'd made which seemed to make quite a few people stop and have a good look with several saying that they see things labelled as handmade but didn't realise that they really were handmade!
