I've tried to put a lot of people off Cu/Ag for anything in skin contact - my suggestion of 18k seems to make them balk though

Well, even with each layer effectively making a cell, I think you'd need an awful lot of layers before you got to something noticable. Thinking about it, I've never actually tasted mokume - wonder if I can detect the current if I do?

There is a *very* subtle taste to the mokume that isn't there with either copper or silver. Sort of a metallic tang, barely perceptible.

It is, it's also actually a fairly silly thing to do.

Finally got some time to myself so made these out of my Mokume Gane



Far from perfect but learnt allot making them. thinking of trying a washer ring with the next bit and already planning my next billet.
