    Default Herringbone Bracelet

    Hi there,

    I'm new here so, hello!

As part of my husbands Christmas present I want to make him a silver herringbone bracelet. I have been silver working for over 3 years so have experience but can't get my head around how to make this! I made a mock up in copper wire but it had no flexibility in it, it was basically a bangle with herringbone. How do I make something with more movement like a normal bracelet?

    Many thanks!

Which version of herringbone were you thinking of? There are so many variants, from plaited flat chains, through maille, to woven, viking knit, loop in loop and beaded. Have you a picture of the style you're after?

    Hey,

Thanks for replying! Unfortunately I am unable to post a pic because I'm a newbie so I will try my best to explain!! It's a flattened herringbone with 2 weaves coming from either side to create a long line of V's. If that makes sense? I may just be googling the wrong kind of tutorial but I can't seem to find any that replicate that.
