Default max size of metal clay to be fired by torch??

Hi All, this is my first post! I have a general query about firing metal clay.
What is the maximum size you can fire with blow torch? I have been asked to
make a key ring about 2cm x 6cm. It would be about 14grams. Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    G

I'm definitely no expert but wold think it may depend on the size of torch you have and the thickness of your keyring. Am sure someone with more experience will be along soon with better information.

I'm rather hoping you mean a Key Ring Tag. Anything pocket sized should fire with a torch. Some members swear by the Nimrod for this.

As for key a keyring, any attempt at making this from clay would not withstand daily use, but you might consider a ready made from Cooksons:http://www.cooksongold.com/category_...silve+key+ring.
