    Default The Guild of Jewellery Designers Exhibition March 2013

    The Guild of Jewellery Designers are now inviting applications for our
    first exhibition in Birmingham, from goldsmiths, silversmiths and
    jewellery designer/makers working in any materials.


    The exhibition will be held in the Waterhall at the Birmingham
    Museums and Art Gallery. Located in the heart of Birmingham city centre,
    the Waterhall is a prestigious self-contained space within the Museums and
    Art Gallery with its own private entrance. The event will be extensively publicised.


    The show is a one day event to be held on Saturday 9 March 2013 and open to the
    public from 10:00am - 5:00pm.
    The event will have capacity for 50 exhibitors and early application is advisable.


    Applications are open to all jewellery makers and all work on display
    must be made by the designer. Members interested in exhibiting should fill in
    an application form which can be found here:

    I think it went well Peter............I was a bag of nerves, literally!! It was my first show

    There was a really good variety of exhibitors, just over 40 I think. The event had a steady footfall, I found those attending in the morning were there to look at jewellery and more interested in buying if they saw something they liked. The event was well organised, a nice venue and location, fantastic refreshments available, which also helped keep people around and browsing.

    It was the first time I had seen all my jewellery set out which was really nice after all these years!! I also made a number of sales, so I was really really pleased............

    I hope Alan will be holding another event in the future!!

    Excellent stuff. I hope you took plenty of notes on what went well, what could be improved - but most of all, congratulations on the sales.
