Well that's a spoon and a half Keia and I think you did it really well. Without hijacking this thread, I would only say that oval doming blocks and spoon stakes are expensive and quite difficult to use, but I did see on the other forum a month back, a spoon made using an existing steel spoon as a mould. Dennis.
Thanks Dennis, I'll hunt for the thread x

CousinsUK had a set of spoon stakes for £9.95 last time I looked. Can't say anything about the quality as I've not seen them. I think they're from India.
Thankyou for the reccomendations & suggestions (inlcuding those sent by pm), it's greatly appreciated. x

Here's my entry, finished just in time and with plenty of leaves! Mistletoe sprig thumb ring. Made from sterling sheet and wire. The shank is deliberately made to look 'whittled'

I love that spoon Keia! My various attempts at spoons have not been so successful!
And Pat, the ivy earrings are very pretty :-)
such lovely work being done here.
everyone has great imaginations
Your mistletoe ring is gorgeous Kim! I've been following the "making of" on FB and it's great to see the finished ring.
