I managed to make a new mate for my orphaned earring and actually got some photos this time! The twigs were inspired by the work of Annealed Heart on Etsy, who has some wonderful twig jewellery. They were described as being fused sterling, so I thought I'd have a go at melting some wire. To my surprise, it came out rather well. Never been a huge fan of smoky quartz, but I really like the colour and the interesting cut of these.

I'm still thinking about oxidising them - any opinions?
