EZE Lap Diamond Impregnated Sharpener versus Arkansas Stone
Following a stone setting setting course, I'm in the market for a sharpening stone for scorpers etc
Has anyone tried one of these

in contrast to

Not sure which one to buy - can anyone advise?
Thanks in advance

Pauline, I have used most types of sharpening stones in my career, twenty years ago I bought one of these; http://www.mindyourfingers.co.uk/P4424.html
Spyderco Ceramic Whetstone , medium cut. They are a drystone that does not need oil when sharpening. I find that with this stone I can sharpen gravers and scorpers to perfection. I do also have the fine stone but rarely use it as the medium works great. And at just over £41 with free delivery well worth it.
By the way your above links to the stones don't seem to work for me.

James, thanks for the advice. If you have had it and are still pleased with it after 20 years, it's a fab recommendation for it.
