Rings

till a couple of months ago I never made rings, now I cannot stop making them :0) This latest one has a little Ozzie opal doublet, which I have been too scared to set till today:

I like that very much, in spite of it being an opal! (I shall probably be struck down by something terrible for admitting that I don't like them now....)

The balancing ring on the back of the shank is a very nice solution.

Yes, doublets and triplets are very cheerful. I hate those white opals though. I have had the idea of double shanks in my sketch book for a while, Cornelius, but you've beaten me to it now. Dennis.
