I've been thinking about colour

For the past few weeks I've been thinking about colour and how to express some of the things I see or feel. When I was a child, my mother used to tell me that if there was enough blue in a cloudy sky to make a sailor a pair of trousers, then the day would brighten up. I never thought to ask what size trousers

A couple of weeks ago, I saw such a sky, which I have tried to represent in this necklace. The lampworked beads are by Rob Johnson, the chain is sterling, as is the clasp. I usually make my own clasps but they are rather heavy in style and I thought this required something rather more delicate.
