Living near the beach, a sunny day on the water, seagulls flying overhead.

Just adding to the entries, without actually entering.

Not for the competition, but now that the weather has changed to sunny and the butterflies are all over our buddleia, here is a photo of a piece I made 28 years ago. It's an eight day clock that stands 14 inches high, butterflies are all plique a-jour enamelled and the piece is set with diamonds and a dozen rubies as the hour marks. The piece was a design by Susan K. Mcmeekin and made in 18ct gold and rock crystal, for Asprey.

Gone down the same avenue as Kwant on this one with my "Rain or Shine" necklace

If you're feeling blue, wear it so the cloud obscures the sun...

Made from sterling silver, with citrine set for the centre of the sun and a London blue topaz raindrop.

Wouldn't like to decide this one. You could always add a roller skate as a tie breaker, Lauren.

such an amazing first Enamelling result there Cornelius. The boldness is very striking.

I love your sun and clouds Lauren - they always make me smile.

The seascape is great Kim, it could be rainy or sunny and still we would turn up the beach

Timeless work from James, clear to see why you are a goldsmith.

lovely pieces, one and all and so much work too. Good luck everyone.

Here's my effort, a silver ring with a micro-hammered texture to represent the raindrops hitting the pavement, set with a rainbow of gemstones to represent, well, the rainbow! I used garnet, citrine, yellow sapphire, emerald, topaz, sapphire and amethyst. I wear this one every day :-)

Here's my meagre effort which is a reminder of the last cold winter. I fused silver dichroic glass for the icicles then made a crystal beaded necklace to hang them from.
