    So what exactly was the process you use? The snap makes me suspect you need to aneel it a least once during the tightening.

    ahhh it worked out well! I want to do one which is actually closed. I was toying with the idea of making my own rope from silver wire and using that, but it would mean that once it's on, then it really is on!

    Looks like a good book, thanks have just ordered it. I did my bangle just by continually annealing and moving slowly bit by bit and it did take ages but I am thrilled with result for a newbie!
