Oil for Arkansas Stone

What type of oil is recommended for an Arkansas Stone, or will 3 in 1 do. They are expensive so I don't want to ruin it first time I use it.

3 in 1 works, but I tend to use almond oil (from the chemist) as it's a bit less knackering to fingertips.

Almond oil is great for the skin so a win/win. I had forgotten about that oil, great reminder to get mine out from the bathroom cabinet and put it to better use.
