    Default Household insurance

I wasn't sure where to ask this exciting question!!!!

Does anyone have any recommendations of where to get household insurance from contents and buildings when making jewellery at home and having gas bottles in the house?? I just keep getting 'need specialist insurer', but cannot find one!!

    Any advice welcome
    Many thanks

Mine is with Norwich Union (I think that what they are still called). Although the stock is not insured, everything else is - they told me, as I am using thew actual house as part of business. I suppose if you have a separate workshop, then you have to get a specialist insurance as it would be considered business premises.

Thanks Lilia, I'll give them a try, it is part of the house I'm using and our insurance is due for renewal in a couple of weeks and we hadn't realised how out of date it was until the provider was taken over and suggested reviewing
