    Love to know what you make of these Ruby rings i made for my parents, its their ruby wedding anniversary coming up so i thought i'd make an effort

    Very nice, it looks as if there is some degree of size adjustment possible in the larger one, too. Dennis.

    if i was going to make it bigger i think i'd prefer to take a file to it or cut a section out to reduce.

    Love it that the pics are big, lets me see the detail on the larger one. Beautiful work on both.

    Thanks everyone! nice to get good feedback , especially for the big one - i thought that might be a bit OTT!
    I was certain my dad wouldn't wear a ruby ring anyway so i thought i'd just go to town on it
    ...I started with a basic wax model done in delft clay. most of the shaping was done with burrs and i do love a good file!
